Carrie Hartman created these illustrations for a holiday calendar for Santa's Traveling Workshop.

STW, a non-profit organization, has been sharing the magic and spirit of Christmas with children of our Armed Forces and their families nationwide since 2005.  Over the past four years, the group has had many special "Guest Elves" help in giving gifts to children, including former First Lady Laura Bush, members of the U.S. Senate, various governors, and many stars in the NBA and NASCAR.

"They do wonderful work for our military families during the holidays," says Carrie. "It was a collaborative project along with illustrators: Barb Bjornson, Cori Doerrfeld, Erik Christenson, Anna Kaiser and Jeff Byrd. I was honored to be a part of it."
