Kevin McFadin, recently created this piece to go with a poem on a young couple, one Japanese, one Mexican. It will be part of a larger publication that is geared towards kids and their "curricula."

"The strong identity of both cultures was interesting to handle. I’m a good citizen and always get my reference to work from, but this piece was far more specific than usual so I had to dig a bit deeper. The biggest pay off in doing that was exposing myself to lots of great visuals, colors, textures, papel picado, dancers, motifs and symbols… I learned something. Go figure."
