Marty Braun illustrated the poster for the next Portland Stage (Portland, Maine) production, "Last Gas." The play is a bittersweet romantic comedy that takes place in a convenience store on the edge of nowhere in northern Maine. 

The playwright, John Cariani, is from Presque Isle, ME and supplied a lot of reference regarding the look and feel of the store, since it is his home territory. “He seemed quite pleased with the feel of authenticity when he saw the image,” says Marty. “I look forward to meeting him on opening night and I'm enjoying seeing my work ‘large’ around town!”
