Marty Braun just finished art for an announcement for Maine Mead Works (Portland, ME). They are moving into a larger space, in the old Nissen Bakery, an imposing building, and they wanted a graphic, industrial feel for their announcement, in keeping with the character of the new space. 

Marty used airbrush texture to give the image the gritty, slightly retro feel of the neighborhood. Mead is made from honey, and is the oldest of all fermented beverages; Maine Mead Works uses all local Maine wildflower honey.
