Maine based artist Marty Braun is proud to have created the label art for Dempsey's Courage, a new ale from Gritty McDuff Brewing in Portland, ME. TV actor Patrick Dempsey of "Grey's Anatomy" started The Dempsey Challenge last year to raise money to help support the families of cancer patients.

Dempsey is a competitive bike rider and the Challenge, which draws some of the big names in bicycle racing, consists of courses of 10, 25, 50 and 100 miles, and a 5k run. Last year participants raised over $1 million. A Lewiston, ME native, Dempsey started the challenge because of his mother's bout with cancer. The ale will be released at the Challenge this October.
