Carl Wiens was asked to create a piece for a fundraiser to benefit The Regent, a renovated landmark theater in his native Prince Edward County. The goal was purchasing a state-of-the-art digital projector, so Carl decided to invent his own: “Not modern or digital, but very, very enthusiastic!”

The fundraising committee provided a letterbox frame to the contributing artists, so Carl took on a collaged frame as well.
