Christina Wald’s latest book project for Mountain Press Publishing is “The Wild Life of Elk,” a joint venture between Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and US Forest Service.

“There was a great team on this book from the writer, Donna Love, to the designer who put everything together,” says Christina.

“There were over 100 illustrations (paintings, halftone pencils, cartoons) done for this book, which also involved going to Montana and Kentucky to photograph elk for reference.”
