This update of recent work by Richard Borge spans a variety of techniques and media, but the style is always 100% Rich. First up, a diagram for The Deal illustrating the complexities of the business cycle: startup, sale or IPO, buyout, sale, IPO, sale, bankruptcy, sale, etc.

For the Wall St Journal, Richard used a 3-D collage approach to an article on how Corporate America has cleaned up its balance sheet and now—flush with cash—is ready to start spending on new factories, stores and even employees.

This image for the Utne Reader gets a similar treatment to illustrate a story about how advertisers track our activity online.

And finally, it’s back to line and graph paper for a Road & Track article asking if all the modern devices in new cars make our lives easier, or were we better off when things were more analog?
