Matt Herring created the cover plus a double page spread for the BBC's celebration of Claude Debussy's 150th birthday. “It is rare for the magazine to use illustration on their cover and fantastic to be given a full bleed with little copy for the inside spread,” says Matt.

“I was given complete creative freedom, having worked with the magazine for many years. The brief was simply to design an image to capture Debussy's French passion & Oriental influences.”
