ANNI BETTS ILLUSTRATION: ORIGAMI BOOK

July 8, 2015

Anni Betts has illustrated a book of lusciously patterned Origami papers for UK publisher Usborne Books. “All in all I created 28 patterns, in several color ways each,” says Anni. “It was a lot of work, but playing with colors and pattern hardly feels like work!”

“I created a mix of abstract patterns and more representative ones, so there’s something for everyone,” explains Anni. “I also worked with one big master color palette for the whole book, so if you created a whole menagerie of origami animals, they would all have a little something in common.”
