
Josée Bisaillon illustrated “The Great Moon Hoax” by Stephen Krensky, a children’s book that tells the amusing true story of an elaborate prank by The New York Sun, in 1835, in which fictitious headlines touted the discovery, via a telescope in South Africa, of life on the moon. (more)
Gold Honors go to Josee Bisaillon via the Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards! Josee’s contribution to “Benno and the Night of Broken Glass,” earned Gold in the Multicultural Picture Book category.
Josée Bisaillon has been short listed for the prestigious Governor General’s Literary Awards by the Canada Council for the Arts for her illustrations in Le funambule, a journey into the imagined childhood of Marc Chagall. (more)
