Michele Rosenthal’s illustration for Atlanta Magazine accompanies an article about Bean Work Play Café, which offers both a workspace for freelancing parents, and a daycare for their kids. “Not to mention coffee, which any work-at-home mom needs plenty of,” notes Michele, wryly. (more)

Michele Rosenthal created the cover for “The Cop With The Pink Pistol,” a tongue-in-cheek mystery novel set in NYC, published by Ransom Note Press. “I had great fun designing the cover, combining original illustrations with some hand-drawn text,” says Michele. “The end result hopefully has sort of a James Bond action-y feel.” (more)

Michele Rosenthal’s illustrations appear in the February issue of Guideposts Magazine, a publication based on inspirational stories. Michele will be contributing to the “Pass It On” throughout the year. “It's always nice to draw pictures of people being nice to each other,” she says. (more)

Michele Rosenthal’s illustration for an article about rebuilding a community recently appeared in the START 2011 Research Review, a journal, published annually by The University of Maryland. “Which basically means I got to indulge my love of jigsaw puzzles and drawing little buildings,” says Michele. Michele Rosenthal had loads of fun creating her latest batch of hip patterns for stationary company Dabney Lee. The names of the surface patterns are: Arcade, Wild Horses, Mia, Peekaboo, Bruno, and Harvey. (more)

Michele Rosenthal recently completed the illustrations for another in a series of children's books for Sullivan Learning Systems, this time on the topic of third grade chemistry. The top two drawings feature Molly the Molecule; apparently sugar molecules look a lot like balloon animals. Who knew? (more)
