When Mattel asked Rob McClurkan to illustrate several of the Pixar characters as tiki gods in less than 24 hours, he jumped at the chance. The mission was to create packaging art for a special action figure/doll of Pixar creative genius John Lasseter for presentation to him at Toy Fair. The theme centered on Mr. Lasseter's legendary love of Hawaiian shirts. (more)

Rob McClurkan created these happy graphics for the Laundry Jumble Game, a fun learning toy for kids involving touch, memory and polka dotted underwear!  In working up the illustrations for the packaging and game cards, Rob used a lot of texture in the backgrounds and on the characters. (more)
