STEVEN NOBLE KAHLUA PACKAGE REDESIGN

October 26, 2010

Steven Noble’s talent for reinterpreting classic line work was called on for the redesign of the Kahlua coffee liqueur label.  Ironically, Steve’s update involved replacing Colonial-era architectural renderings with ancient Mayan and Aztec cues.

Illustrations of the Mexican landscape and topography are included on the new label while intricately detailed Meso-American elements on the neck label speak to the brand’s authenticity and origin.

Armed with this fresh palette of design elements, Steve and the Kahlua team crafted a new premium packaging system that serves as a celebration of the brand. The rich pleasures contained within every Kahlúa bottle are now more fully expressed through the outward elements of design and packaging.
