JASON SEILER: OBAMA FOR THE OBSERVER

Originally, Jason Seiler was commissioned to paint eight of the top 100 Real Estate CEO's of New York for the cover of this week’s New York Observer. He had finished most of that painting when the news of Osama Bin Laden’s death changed the headlines, and covers, across all of America.
“I started this cover at 9:00 P.M. Monday night with the final due 5:00 P.M. the following day,” says Jason. “It was a challenge, but the energy I felt from the importance of this week helped me push through… I'm honored to have been able to paint this cover on such a memorable week in our history.”
