STEPHEN BARNWELL: ONEIROGNOSIS

Stephen Barnwell has written and lavishly illustrated Oneirognosis, a book designed to look like a 17th century alchemical folio. Filled with poetry and lyrical prose, it is a deep dive into an exploration not only of dreams, but of perception, reality, and the spiritual and material world.

The technique of asking your dreams questions and getting an answer is called “Dream Seeding,” and this book is a sumptuous instruction manual on how to achieve this skill.  Oneirognosis, a Greek word for "dream knowledge," is designed to be a 6 x 6" square, hardbound book with a simple, black cover with silver foil stamp.
