James Fryer’s monthly illustration for What Car? magazine's “Help Desk” page, where readers share their stories of bad practices within the automotive industry, usually involves how unhelpful dealerships and garages have been in rectifying consumer car problems.  This particular story was about the weeks of waiting one person had to endure in getting his BMW back from the garage.
