CHRIS GASH: UNWRITTEN RULES OF BASEBALL

Chris Gash's latest batch of illustrations for ESPN.com got replaced by photos at the last minute, but they’re just too much fun not to share. “The Unwritten Rules of Baseball” is a set of esoteric never-dos that have been passed down by word of mouth, from veterans to rookies, generation to generation, for 100 years. First – NEVER bunt to end a no-hitter, when a pitcher should drill a batter:

NEVER swing at a 3-0 pitch when you’re winning by 8 or more runs:
