TAYLOR CALLERY ILLUSTRATION: RAMPAGE IN THE WEX

February 24, 2016

Taylor Callery’s feature illustration for Columbus Monthly accompanied an article about the mysterious and devastating actions of a former security guard at The Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus, OH. Why would a well-educated, cultured man, with no criminal record, vandalize yet to be revealed paintings for the upcoming “After Picasso” exhibit - only to commit suicide in the empty gallery?

The museum and the surrounding community are left searching for answers after this shocking attack on the internationally acclaimed museum. Taylor’s artwork manages to capture the chaotic silence in the aftermath of these events.
