CHRIS GASH ILLUSTRATION: FOOD BANKING

Chris Gash created two illustrations for the University of Chicago Booth School of Business to accompany a feature about how applying principles of economics has made food banking a better and more efficient system.

“The big idea is to make sure food only goes where it is needed,” says Chris. “So, for example, you stop sending potatoes to Idaho food banks and instead let them replace those units with something else.”
