I've broken ties with my daughter and don't want her to be able to contest my will when I'm gone. I don't want her to get hold of our holiday home which I intend to leave to a charity. Is there anything that can be done to stop family relations’ contesting wills when a person dies?

My neighbor’s extension is vastly different from the drawings he showed me. I now have a monstrosity of an extension which is right on my boundary. Can anything be done to change things?
