JEAN-FRANCOIS PODEVIN ILLUSTRATION: JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY ARTS AND SCIENCES MAGAZINE

Jean-Francois Podevin created the cover and an interior illustration for Johns Hopkins University Arts and Sciences Magazine, using CGI/3D to depict elements that are being combined in new ways to make never-before-seen materials.
The lab at Johns Hopkins is, “an integral part of the effort by the US to regain its former leadership for making the raw materials for building tomorrows technologies.” Podevin created an emerging mass of illuminated small 3D elements, coalescing infinitely, to show the aspirations of the Hopkins lab.
