I am an independent visual artist and illustrator working across traditional and digital platforms. My editorial work is based on the conceptual portrait, and is where idea and form converge. I have developed a style that synthesizes works of master artists, both contemporary and historical. Themes I continue to explore incorporate cultural identity, gender, and feminism. You can find her illustration work published monthly in the Indypendent. My most recent work, The Gender Project, re-imaging gender,” is a visual narrative that tells stories of people who exist on the gender spectrum and identify as non binary. As an aside I play in the field of street photography, traveling and documenting people all over the world . I am the co-founder of the 16 year old Tuesday/Thursday Jazz Sketch night at The Society of Illustrators and teach at Pratt Institute and City College. When not in my studio you can find me eating Laksa and drinking cappuccino while sketching in Kuala Lumpur, traveling the world, or at home in New York drawing at The Met or at Bethesda Fountain, my favorite location. you can also find me in the morning on the Great Hill in Central Park with my 2 Frenchies. close
