JAMES FRYER ILLUSTRATES THE ROAD AHEAD

James Fryer's latest cover and feature spread illustration for ISDA's IQ magazine focuses on how the International Swaps and Derivatives Association is building of a new market for rates. After preparation in recent years, market participants are now at the point where they can trade the new "risk-free rates" (RFRs) that have been identified as alternatives to LIBOR and other interbank offered rates (IBORs). 

"As with all of these cover illustrations that also need to go over a spread inside the magazine, it involves adding a large amount of bleed to the left of the image," explains James. Clearly, not a problem!
