JON KRAUSE'S ARTWORK FOR DELOITTE/SALESFORCE ANIMATION

Jon Krause's illustrations come to mesmerizing life in this dreamlike animated collaboration with Deloitte and Salesforce on the world remade by Covid-19. "This project started preliminarily in May, the concepts and storyboard were approved in early June, then we had about three weeks to finish everything," says Jon.

"I was sending pieces to the animators as I finished: figures with 25 layers to move at the joints; the constructions; all the little objects like lighthouses, the sun rays, rafts, etc... it was a crazy deadline," he recalls. "And in the middle of it all a tree fell on my house and destroyed it, so most of the work was done out of a hotel room!"
