TIM O'BRIEN'S NEW "UNDERWATER" COVER FOR TIME

Tim O'Brien continues his award-winning series of aquatic presidential TIME magazine cover illustrations. This week, the fourth installment departs the Oval Office, painting Trump at sea surrounded by COVID-19, as the White House recedes from view. Scroll down for a look at the first three covers in the series.

“The rising water as a metaphor for chaos in the Trump White House could only end two ways,” says Tim. “So he survives only to be in the surging waves surrounded by coronavirus, each one a little bomb.”
