KEN ORVIDAS ILLUSTRATES "BOOTSTRAPPED"

Ken Orvidas illustrated the cover of "Bootstrapped - Liberating Ourselves from the American Dream," a new book from Harper Collins Publishers, arguing that at the root of our suffering is the misplaced belief in our own independence and conviction that we must rely on ourselves alone. The saying "Pulling yourself up by your bootstraps" is actually physically impossible, but it has come to mean that to succeed you need to work hard and rely on your own resources.
