CHANELLE NIBBELINK FOR PORTER AIRLINES MAGAZINE

Chanelle Nibbelink created a full page and four spot illustrations for Porter Airlines Magazine, to accompany their multi-page feature, “Six Cooking Classes.”

This particular illo is based on a cooking class in New York where they teach you how to make ice cream (how fun! ??). I really enjoyed exploring and experimenting with texture, pattern, shadows/highlights, scale, and of course color on this one.
I’ve squeezed into this whimsical composition some giant ice cream desserts, quirky lil chef characters, and real small toppers that are symbolic of NYC!
