SHANIYA CARRINGTON POSTER FOR SUSOIX LLC

Shaniya Carrington illustrated a poster for SUSOIX Creative Director Enrique Cubillo, promoting SpikeBoarding skiing. SpikeBoarding is made in the USA and is the third form of skiing technique following classic and skate roller skiing. Carrington's work is one of over a dozen images commissioned by Cubillo in his effort to educate the public on the new CXC SpikeBoarding skiing technique made possible by the unique hand tool called a SkateBoard Spike® pat. The goal is to attract the attention of STEM educators and academics so as to bring CXC as well as the other two new skiing kinetics ICXC and SUS into the laboratory setting. The creative direction blends national, gender and ethnicity references throughout The Incubation Art of SpikeBoarding, with women presented on day one as national champions of the sport.
