He discussed the situation with his Russian barber, who expressed his disdain for Putin's actions and quietly supported Ukraine.

A British tutor in Russia shares his observations about Russians' views of the Ukraine invasion. When the tutor taught in a local school, initiating a class discussion of the war was forbidden. But some children would inadvertently refer to it, in which case a limited discussion was allowed.
