CATHY HULL REPORTS ON 45'S FRINGE BENEFITS

Cathy Hull notes that reports of Trump’s political demise are greatly exaggerated; he is not washed up. But Trump 3.0’s early bid for a comeback as the front- runner for the Republican nomination in 2024 -once a given- is now open to serious primary challenges and voters are in uncharted, if familiar, water.
While support among core Republican voters has slipped, his expanding and contracting base is cause for alarm. 45’s refusal to explicitly condemn white supremacist fringe groups has sinced morphed into a warm welcome. Truth Social postings confirmed he has now openly embraced extremist groups --many who were among those who violently stormed the Capitol during the failed Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection--and their ideologies. Their means justify his ends.
