Anna Godeassi is an Italian artist working at the forefront of editorial and commercial illustration- she likes to say she was born with a paint brush in her hand and her passion has never waned.

How would you describe your art style?

I have a metaphoric and oniric alphabet and I would like to create a feeling of poetry and passion looking at my art.
 


Share a favorite project and tell us about it.

I recently created a carpet for an important italian brand, located in Milan, via Montenapoleone(Illulian). I created for them a metaphor based on the idea of walking on the clouds.
I love creating art for different supports, in this case for textile, for a design mission- Wow!



Which artists inspire you and why?

I love classical art. I love Magritte, Picasso, Frida Kahlo, Cezanne, and Klimt.
I love travelling and also places and lights inspire my expressive way.
 


Other than illustration, what job would you like to do for one day?

For one day I would like to be a classical dancer, or an acrobat for Cirque du Soleil or Momix. I love bodies in movement... I would like to be a bird too.
