A partial client list includes Merck, McDonald's, Sony, Seagram's, Absolut, Proctor and Gamble, The Boston Globe, Better Homes and Gardens, National Geographic Kids, Astra-Zeneca, Brach's, Hasbro, Intel, Fisher-Price and Chronicle Books.

How would you describe your art style?

Playful, Pop-Art, graphics would probably best describe my style. I like my art to be witty and fun with bright, eye-catching colors and iconic silhouettes. In a world with so many images being thrown at us, it’s nice to have something bold and unique to cut through the visual clutter. That’s what I provide with my style of illustration.

Share a favorite project and tell us about it.

I illustrated a deck of cards for the game Headbanz Blast Off! It was great to be able to let my imagination run wild as I created a bunch of funny images of various people, critters and objects.

I’ve recently worked on a couple of game box designs with Grand Prix International that were great projects too. No images yet since they are still in development but stay tuned! Can’t wait to share them.

Which artists inspire you and why?

My inspiration includes the great designer/illustrator Milton Glaser, pop artist Roy Lichtenstein, the legendary Seymour Chwast, and Charles Spencer Anderson design. I like the colorful, inventive and visually rich images all these artists create.

It’s my belief that people can tell if you enjoyed creating a work when they look at it. You want to take the viewer on a visual ride through the composition and it should be surprising and memorable. All the artists I admire created those kind of clean, graphic images - the kind that get stuck in your head and you remember for a long time. That’s the kind of work I aspire to do.

Name a bucket list item.

I would love to do work for Target. They have such a unique corporate style with the in-store graphics and packaging that I really like. Of course I’m biased, but I think my style would fit right in.

Other than illustration, what job would you like to do for one day?

Maybe a hat shop.
