Kimberley Wiseman is a freelance illustrator and artist based in New York City. She's drawn to subject matter which is unconventional, quirky and amusing.

How would you describe your art style? 

I would characterize my art as expressive with metaphorical and visual elements that tell a story.

Color and space in my art flow in and out in a playful way drawing the viewer in.

Share a favorite project and tell us about it. 

Union Square Park was an image I created while I was sitting at a table in the park, I planned to use the image as a promotional piece. Now it is (AI 42m Chosen Winner) which is so amazing. I love drawing and painting buildings, restaurants and people in New York City.

Which artists inspire you and why? 

There are so many Marc Chagall, Alice Neel, Maurice Sendak, Bernard Most, Beatrice Alemagna

I am drawn to art with a uniqueness of style, originality and great storytelling.

Other than illustration, what job would you like to do for one day? 

Work for MLB, I’m a huge baseball fan.
